Kromah Gallery partners with 8 Arts & Culture to launch the

Kromah Reciprocity Project (KRP).

Kromah Gallery Inc. was envisioned, as the result of the experience that Ernest and Gail Kromah were afforded during a little over a year long, educational assignment, as “Educational Ambassador” promoting the “Baltimore Sister Cities” relationship between Baltimore and Gbarnga, Bong Co. for Gail, while Ernest went as a freelance artist and photographer to Liberia, West Africa. The 1975 sojourn left such an impression on the Kromahs that they returned charged with the dream to deliver their educational/cultural experience in Africa to the city where they both were born and reared. A showcase for historical and contemporary accomplishments of African American artists for the entire world to see is a result of the seed planted from the trip.

The gallery’s mission is to raise awareness on the importance of supporting educational art based programs and vision is to provide resources, training and the necessary technical support and guidance essential to the growth of diverse and underserved communities. Ernest and Gail Kromah have been actively and successfully pursuing an Art Publishing Business, which markets greeting cards, stationary, open editions, prints, and the like. Additionally, Ernest, beyond his Fine Art Mastery, is a renowned Executive Chef and Master Pastry Artist.
