Tendani, is a native Washingtonian, former DC Arts Commissioner, accomplished artist, event producer, entrepreneur, environmentalist, and cultural ambassador with a background in youth development. He has demonstrated his commitment to the development of disadvantaged communities in DC by delivering effective inter generational programs and has been self employed for ten years.
ARRINGTON DIXON | VICE PRESIDENT
Mr. Dixon is former, Chairman and Member of the Council of the District of Columbia and the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments, retired reserve Army Colonel, corporate IT professional, college professor and an entrepreneur. His home-based business is run in Anacostia, on the same street, in the same community where he grew up.
BRANDON L. WYATT Esq. | SECRETARY
Brandon is a decorated army combat solider and disabled veteran. He received his Juris Doctorate from Howard University School of Law. Brandon is dedicated to social engineering. Heparticipates intimately in the internal & external, business development, social activism, and policy research & coordination for various service organizations including the Ward 8 Arts & Culture Council, Veterans for Compassionate Care, Veteran’s On the Rise, National Association of Concerned Veteran's, The People's Champ, 37Tons, DCMJ, and the Weed for Warriors Project.

Rob has over fifteen years of diverse knowledge and experience in contracts management and contracts administration, project management support, accounts billable processes and procedures. He is also a franchise Owner/Operator and executive partner of Colbert/Ball Tax Services, providing tax servicesto the Washington metropolitan area and nationwide.

Evon has over 25 years experience in business administration and documentation. She is the multi-faceted business owner of "Tranquil Blessings" providing wholistic family services. As a licensed massage therapist and healer, she is literally touching lives in a way that reduces stress and tension while invoking tranquility.
DEMETRIUS BROWN | CO-FOUNDER, DIRECTOR OF PROGRAMS AND MUSIC
Demetrius ”ENTATY” Brown, is a native of South East Washington D.C. He was accepted to the world renowned Duke Ellington High School of the Arts, where he honed his skills as a vocalist. and music production. After attending the University of the District of Columbia for music education, he taught many ward 8 youth and young adults music at Ballou HS and Birney Elementary.

Brenda is an independent business consultant that has been successful helping her clients expand their customer base into new markets through innovative/out-of-the-box thinking. With a background in business administration, and technology engineering, she has 20 years of experience of innovative planning and logistics management.
LYNETTE VOSS MCNEIL | FINANCE
Lynette is a native Washingtonian of Ward 8. She earned her BA Degree in Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from The University of the District of Columbia. She designed a line of jewelry named “The Voss Collection”, which she sold at trunk shows in the local Nordstrom stores. She moved Vintage & Charmed to Historic Anacostia.

Kalik Housen is a certified information systems security professional, professional photographer and owner of Kaliber Solutions web development and marketing firm. Kalik received his Computer Science and Network Security BA from Bowie State University. Kalik’s passion for visual arts is displayed by his commitment to teaching and mentoring young adults through our Creative Economy Platform.
ALICIA JEFFERSON | WORKFORCE PROGRAMS
Alicia is a native Washingtonian and has an undergraduate degree in Computer Science and a Masters Degree in Technology Management from the University of Maryland. She is the CEO of Nai Xander, Inc. a 3D consulting company specializing in helping businesses, institutions and schools apply 3D technology to meet current and future needs. Alicia has over 15 years experience managing and implementing numerous technology projects for the Federal Government, nonprofits and international businesses.

Rauf is VP of USA Guided Tours, and a New York Native who planted roots in DC working with hotels and transportation. He volunteers regularly at our community events and his passion for giving back is helping DC most under served communities.
LARRY SCHAFFER | Volunteer / Associate
Larry, CEO of Schaefer Global Enterprises, has a passion for engaging communities and business with agricultural solutions while educating youth in the process. His experience designing, building, and installing Coy fish ponds set the stage for his expertise in aquaponics systems. After growing up on a farm, Larry has a wealth of knowledge to share. He volunteers teaching agriculture to youth in our summer programs, and helps develop our business related agricultural production projects.

After graduating from the Florence School of Design in Italy, Sydnea moved to Congress Heights in Ward 8 where she began free lance graphic and webdesign services to local businesses. She has been volunteering with 8AC for over 2 years. Sydnea is an accomplished digital creator providing quality services in her arena.
NICHOLAS BARTON | Volunteer/ Associate
Nicholas is a decorated army soldier and disabled veteran, he has an broad and diverse range in experiences from government employment to managing night clubs. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration with a minor in Marketing from the University Of Maryland. As a business consultant for a top five U.S bank he helps new and established business owners develop the skills they need to keep there businesses growing, funded and relevant in today's fast moving technological age. His production and marketing companies have partnered with major corporations to host events across the country for events ranging from social awareness to major sporting events. He volunteers regularly at 8AC events and provide technical assistance to creative businesses in our network.
